Feeding Greene Mission
To see that no one goes to bed hungry in our community.
Since 1995, Feeding Greene has been providing supplemental food assistance to area families in need. Currently, we are serving over 900 families who receive over 120,000 pounds of food each month. Feeding Greene is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer driven organization.

We are incredibly grateful to Wegmans for supporting Feeding Greene and our fundraising efforts! Their generosity is an investment directly into the families and neighbors we serve right here in our community.
Each month, an average of 870 families turn to Feeding Greene for assistance. Support from community partners like Wegmans helps us provide fresh produce, proteins, dairy products, pantry staples, and other essential foods to families, older adults, and neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

Backpack supplies will be delivered to each school on Thursday of
each week and given out to students each Friday at Greene County
Public Schools. This year we will begin the program BEFORE Labor
Day, on Friday, September 4th!
We are looking for new volunteers to join our Public Relations Committee! Join Feeding Greene’s Public Relations Committee!Have a few hours to spare each month and enjoy meeting people, attending community events, or creating content? Help us promote Feeding Greene’s mission and connect with our community! We’re especially seeking someone interested in creating short-form videos highlighting pantry operations, the client shopping experience, and our volunteers.To learn more, email [email protected].
